Universal Inevitability 2019.

An ongoing investigation into an expanded concept of the universal inevitability of entropy and its effects on life, love, memory and place.

My mother keeps an envelope on the mantelpiece in her living-room. It contains instructions on what to do when she dies - the music for her funeral, where she wants her ashes scattered, poems, notes and other things important to her. It is addressed to my sister and I but it is the elephant in the room and we have never opened it. I recorded a conversation with our mother and she told me what was inside.
